i've been diligently working on dr. pennink's bio, but was still party shuffling on my ipod and came across this delicately beautiful song by the Sugarplum Fairies. i quite like it and think you should check it out. the lyrics are simple, yet describe adequately the complexity of love:

love is a flaw
In the logic of war
your typewriter's God
but he's in self-repair mode

and you're not smart at all
not smart at all
you're not smart at all
not smart at all

you're earning your bread
with giving good head
and you hope all your scars
will turn into stars

and you're not smart at all
not smart at all
you're not smart at all
not smart at all

my best friend in the world is struggling with the logic of love. i hope her scars turn into stars and she flys far away.

in other notes, i am city market deli downtown because rude was closed. this is not a place to go in hope or hunger. the flies circle like crows, the furniture is awkwardly arranged, and the employees are too absorbed in their online poker to pay attention to the needs of paying customers. plus, their coffee is poop. to be fair: pluses: free wi-fi and delicious chocolate mousse cake.
